Congratulations to the 2024 Award Winners
My name is Gwyneth O’Connell and I am a 2024 graduate of Serena High School. I will be attending Quincy University in the fall to study Exercise Science as a Pre-Physical Therapy Major and play on the Women’s Basketball team. A fun fact about me is that I have pet fainting goats!

My name is Tanner Faivre I am a 2024 Serena graduate and I will attend Monmouth College this fall. I am going to continue playing basketball and soccer as I continue my college education.

My name is Reece Wagner. I am a 2024 graduate from West Aurora and I will be attending Aurora University. I plan to major in Elementary Education with a minor in Youth Sports Development/Coaching. I will also be playing football. Fun fact: I have been to 13 MLB Ballparks with the goal of attending all 30.
My name is Ava Taviani and I recently graduated from Oswego High School. I plan on studying Elementary Education at Illinois State University. I chose Elementary Education because I wanted to impact children as they are developing and become a positive and caring role model in their lives. In my free time, I like to play tennis, hike, swim and spend time with my friends and family.

My name is Ryan Walsh, and I am a 2024 Oswego graduate attending the University of Indianapolis this fall. I wanted to start off by saying thank you for acknowledging me with this great scholarship opportunity. I feel very honored to be able to earn this scholarship, and I will do my best to represent Trevor’s great qualities in my future. I will be playing soccer at the University of Indianapolis as well, which is something that I have been passionate about doing for my entire life. In my future I hope to be a mechanical engineer because I love math, science, and physics.
My name is Ashley Cervantes, and I am a 2024 East Aurora High School graduate. This fall, I will attend Columbia College Chicago. I am a first-generation college student, Hispanic, and I hope to become an animator.
My name is Taoheed Adeoye and I am a 2024 East Aurora High School Graduate. I am planning on majoring in biology at Northern Illinois University this fall, I am a first-generation college student with the hope of becoming a pediatrician. One fun fact about me is that I like classical music.
