About The Trevor Wehner Memorial Scholarship
Our Story
Days after the tragic mass shooting in Aurora at the Henry Pratt Company on February 15, 2019, Trevor’s parents decided through the tragic loss of their son they would keep Trevor’s legacy alive through the Trevor Melvin Wehner Scholarship Fund. All monetary donations that were received from family, friends, communities, businesses, the Aurora Strong go fund me and the Compassion Fund, were used to create the Trevor Wehner Memorial Scholarship, Inc Foundation. The generosity of everyone will allow the family to award ten $1,000.00 scholarships annually to High School and College students for many years to come.
Trevor’s life was senselessly taken from him, but the legacy of Trevor Melvin will carry on through all those who have donated, will donate and to the High School and College students who will be awarded the scholarships.
